Does square host my web page?

I am trying to figure out my web page hosting. Last year I started using Square to design my web page and already had a consultant working with me and had acquired a domain name. I had already paid him for his services for the year and now the contract has expired. He is willing to transfer my domain name to me but says I need to transfer to an account that can host and serve my website.

So can someone tell me do I need a ex. "Go Daddy" account or does square do this?

On another point I am getting charged $70 from Weebly. What is this.

What is your web address @gouvgolf ?

He may have acquired the domain via Go Daddy, and is using Square to host your website.

You can purchase a domain through just about anyone, and then in turn have a different company host your domain and website.
