Discount to a certain amount

I need to offer a certain group of customers a discount as follows:

Order any draft beer for $5.00

So the first beer they buy that is over $5.00 is $5.00 no matter what the original price was.

I could do it in my old POS, but I can't figure out how to do it in Square.

So the discount applies to only the first beer they order at each visit? Or when they become a "member"? You can distribute customers into groups to receive certain benefits, but I think you first need to narrow down your discount "rules"

One of the perks of being a member is your first beer on Tuesdays is $5.00. My beers are always changing and vary in price, so I can't just use a $1.50 discount, for example. I see where I can have the discount apply to certain customers, and a certain category, but I don't see how to make a discount equal an amount, rather than an amount off. I hope that made sense
