How do i delete the logo area in the downtown theme?

My logo doesn't show up clearly in the logo section on the header of the downtown theme so I placed it in the header image area. But the logo area in the middle top places a white box ever when there is nothing placed in it and covers part of the header image. This is not visually appealing.

Is there any way to remove the logo area completely or to make it invisible so that my logo in the header image is not obstructed?

Hi there.

Unfortunately you cannot edit or remove the logo box of the pre-set templates.

The only option to remove that logo section would be to switch to either the Atlas or the Roebling Template.

While there isn't a lot of customization you can do to the templates, I'll definitely let our Product Team know of the request.

Thank you. The black background of this theme is what I am after, otherwise I would change to another.
