What is the best way to set up Free Items for Loyalty Rewards?

I am setting up my loyalty program for free merch. For example, 500 points = Free Tee Shirt, 1000 = Free Sweatshirt. Since my shirts have multiple colors and sizes, I have to add every combination of items as rewards. ex, Men's Tee -Small/Blue, Men's Tee - Med/Blue... etc.

There has to be a better way, ideally just selecting Men's Tee as the reward which includes all the combos.

@You could do Free Category instead, and have all of those items be the only items in a Tee’s Category. The Free Category title is a little misleading - it actually means a free item in a category, so it should work.

The only downside is that category based things in loyalty don’t currently work with Square Online as the categories aren’t exactly connected.

But otherwise it should solve the problem.

Thank you for the response! Having a separate Category for each merch item is a good idea to solve this problem, but I like having a Merch category for reporting purposes. I wish we could do sub categories. That would be perfect.
