In Store Discount Code

Is there a way to create a discount code that I could give to customers to use in the store? I know you can create discount codes to use online, but I don't have an online store, just brick & mortar. I already have discounts, but I want to be able to print up cards/ send emails that say something like "use code '05614' for $.25 off your purchase of a pumpkin pie milkshake."

I think the discount button is the way to go with this. Title the button to match any code/name you create. They can bring in the email/card, and the cashier hits the corresponding discount button to match and track the sales.

Are you familiar with adding a discount button to the register?

To add to what @Fresh1 mentioned (thanks for the response), you might also find our Square Marketing features useful to accomplish the emailed discount.

This feature lets you engage your customers with Email Marketing campaigns to offer announcements, coupons, promotions etc.

Multi-use discount code

I have a customer who orders often and I give them a discount. Is there a way I can create a multi-use coupon or code for them to use when paying that will deduct their discount? Or perhaps something on my end that inputs it automatically when I invoice them? I dont always remember their discount which is why Im asking.

Hey @Petal - Reusable discount codes to give your customers for recurring purchases is a limitation with Square's system. Another seller asked a similar question so I've moved your post here so you can see @Fresh1's workaround.
