Square Invoice Update - Custom Notes

I do not like this custom notes, as it only added one more step for me to add a price, I would like to go back to the previous system where you can chose an item then enter theprice. How can I do that please

I can see how this added step can be tedious to sellers who enjoyed the simplicity of the previous interface.

While you can't revert back to the old Invoices interface, this new layout not only allows you to add customer notes to items (a feature that was highly requested within Square Invoices), it also gives our Product Team the framework to continue to build and improve Square Invoices for the future.

One alternative that might work for you would be to send Square Invoices from a mobile device, as the Invoices layout within the Square Register app was not changed.

I concur with the original poster. Please add a feature for sellers who provide services [such as attorneys and CPA's], instead of "Items" so we can enter the price for services rendered. I could not process any invoices on Saturday since Customer Service isn't open on the weekends and was not made aware of this design change. I, too, don't like going into "items" to customize the price before I process a client invoice. Service providers may be switching to a different credit card processing system if this proves too cumbersome.
