&lt;P&gt;At this time, there isn't a way to unsubscribe a customer from Square Marketing email lists on their behalf&amp;nbsp;&lt;EM&gt;and&lt;/EM&gt; keep their email in your &lt;A href="https://squareup.com/help/us/en/article/5498-manage-your-customer-directory-online" target="_blank"&gt;Directory&lt;/A&gt;. If you're unable to direct your customer to unsubscribe themselves, the only workaround would be to remove their email from their customer profile completely.&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>Can a business unsubscribe a customer?</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;How can a business unsubscribe customers from email marketing campaigns if they request us to remove them from our mailing list? We typically request them to unsubscribe themselves but there are times when customers would rather just have us take them off.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I'd truly appreciate any way to do this.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
