Single item, multiple prices and inventory issue

Background: We are a Tasting Room and have multiple price points on each bottle. Retail, Club, Employee and Gift Certificate. Each of these price points has been added as a variation.
The issue is that we want to be able to deduct and add inventory from the specific item. I don't want to have to add inventory to each variation. Is there a way to do this? TIA

Hi @ShaleCanyonWine!

As far as I know, this isn't a functionality available on Square Online - we've had to use the exact workaround that you've described. Tedious because then you kind of have guess what amount of inventory to attribute to each variation.

Maybe there is a better way, though! @AdamB any insight on this?

Hmm...This isn't very elegant, but you could use coupons to control the price and still use a single inventory. That could be a little cumbersome depending on how you handle each price point for each item, though.
