remove state selection in customer's address field

Hi, Im trying to make it easier for clients to input their address info. We are a local company and all of our orders are in state. Is there a way to have the state selection option preset to our state or not even show up?

There isn't a way to bypass inputting the customer's state. I can't imagine it's even something a client has ever thought was a hassle, as it takes a couple seconds to click the drop down with your state.

I suppose it it is possible using the API and creating a custom web interface that doesn't have the state variable in it.
