    <description>&lt;P&gt;Unfortunately, it seems open ticket only works for Square for restaurants, not Square for retail. Retail really does need a way of entering in items before payment and saving that in case the customer has to continues shopping, or if it is a larger amount of items and we can save time by entering them in while they are still shopping, yet have the option to handle a purchase by a different customer. It happens more times than you think, esp. during the holidays.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Retail Store: I don't manage customers.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If someone is in the middle of checking out and they have to leave for a minute (they forgot their wallet in the car), can I save that checkout, go on to the next customers, and recall his checkout when he comes back?&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Yes, but you'll need to turn on "Open Tickets" in settings. You can add items to a saved ticket as well.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi, numerous times I've been in the middle of a sale and a customer has asked a question or asked me to get something off a wall and by the time I get back to the sale the transaction is gone. Often I have the items all wrapped and bagged up so I have to unwrap and enter everything again. Is there a way to get this to not time out? It would also be very helpful at holiday time to start a big transaction while a customer is still shopping and be able to put that transaction on hold should you need to ring a different customer out.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Open Tickets on Square for Retail are called &lt;A href="https://squareup.com/help/us/en/article/6347-sell-with-the-square-for-retail-app#0df56cac9307ee710ff3ecfc80d6881b" target="_blank"&gt;Saved Carts&lt;/A&gt;. The only limitation that Saved Carts has over Open Tickets is not being able to hold a card on file. Besides that this will help you with holding a sale.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thanks - but I don't see any option on my checkout screen for Save cart. I use Square for retail Free, if that matters, on the Square POS system. IT is not under the three dots next to "Current sale" on the right, nor under the three dots under "favorites" on the left.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
