    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hey there! This may be a silly question, but can anyone tell me how a customer initiates a return? I know how we (the sellers) can, but I can't find anything on the customer initiating the return. Is the customer just supposed to email the seller (or reach out in some other way)? Or is there an option to create a "Initiate Return" button somewhere?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm a newbie here and pretty much learning everything through trial and error, so any help would be appreciated!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you so much!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Cbcc,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Was this an online or in person transaction? &amp;nbsp; Do you have a return policy?&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; I don't believe there is an automatic method whereas the the customer can initiate a return.&amp;nbsp; As far as I know, the customer has to contact you first - that's why having a return policy is important for you for either selling online or in person.&amp;nbsp; There is some good info &lt;A href="https://squareup.com/us/en/the-bottom-line/operating-your-business/return-and-exchange-policy" target="_self"&gt;here.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/A&gt;And there's info &lt;A href="https://squareup.com/help/us/en/article/5615-refunds-faqs" target="_self"&gt;here&lt;/A&gt; on Refunds that may be helpful.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;jk&lt;/P&gt;</description>
