Open Tickets from Contactless Payment?

Folks,

I'm pretty sure the answer here is "No", but figured I'd ask. Is there any way to open tickets on the Square POS where the customer uses contactless payment i.e. iPhone Apple Pay, etc. to provide the care number? Since these systems typically don't provide the actual card number, but uses a device-specific number and unique transaction code, I suspect not.

We are seeing more and more customers coming through that aren't carrying a physical card with them but are relying on contactless.

At this time this is a Tap limitation as we are provided a random token every time the device is tapped @urbanaxes.

Currently, there is no way to have a Contactless Open Ticket and this is considered a feature request. I will pass your feedback and experience over to our product team for their visibility and consideration when working on future updates.
