Resizing graphics. Top and Bottom Cut off. Help! Please.

No matter what size I make my graphic, the top and bottom get cut off. I'm using Photoshop to resize. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

The box for images is square so you have to resize the canvas behind the image to be square and add a bit of space on the top and bottom as well. You can do this in almost any image editing program. Square does not allow simply making a portrait image smaller to fit within the alloted space.
