thread Is there a way to copy an item when creating a new, slightly different item? in Archived Discussions (Read Only)

I'm inputing my inventory items, and many are simliar but I want them as different items. ie. same product with size variations, but a different fabric. I would like to copy an item and edit that item to just change the few things instead of manually putting in the same variations over and over. Is there a way to do this?

(Simliar to etsy listings where you can copy and edit the copy)

Hi @durianlyon, welcome to the Community.

The best way to do this would be through the item import tool. You can download a spreadsheet of your items and copy the row you'd like to replicate, and make changes to it as necessary. Here are the steps to Import and Export Items Online. Hope that helps! Let us know if you have any other questions.
