This thread is for those of you who are experiencing winter weather conditions this week. As you likely already know, there’s a blizzard warning in effect tonight through Tuesday night for New York City and surrounding areas. With 1-2 feet of snow, high winds, and low temps expected, we wanted to give you a heads up as well as some tips.

As the blizzard approaches, a few things you can do to get your business ready (in addition to buying food, water, batteries and flashlights!):

Charge your iPad, phone, and laptop.
Consider picking up a MiFi so that you can stay connected even if your internet goes down.
Enable offline payments - with Square you can take payments offline, and they’ll process automatically when your device regains connectivity.
Send a message to your customers letting them know whether your hours will be changing during the storm.
