Can I attach a photo to a client profile?

2 questions:

1) I am in the beauty industry and it would be really helpful to be able to upload a photo to a client profile. Can this be done?

2) Is there a better way of kepping client notes on file other than "Appointment notes"?

Thanks for bringing this up. Update: You can add an image to a Customer profile by tapping Add File.

Regarding your second question, you can add client notes to your customer profile by heading to your Directory tab > select customer > Edit > Edit Customer > add notes to the "Other" section > Save. Does that help?

I am a hairstylist, and I have been using square for years. (I love it!!) For the last 5 years have been a suite owner, and I use appointments and the square stand.

I have a suggestion for square to allow us in our notes on our clients/customers, to be able to insert a photo. Be it of our client or a photo of a haircut. It would be great to have such an option, so we can look back and reference either that customer, or a favorite haircut they would like repeated. Just a space in our notes that can remain private for us stylists too look back at for reference.

I am sure many of our beauty professionals would love this option!

Thank you @HDBT! You can add a photo to a customer's profile but the way it the photo is saved might not be exactly what you're looking for.

Here's how to add an image to a profile:

Open the Customers section of your Appointments app.
Tap a customer's name to open their profile > scroll down.
Tap Add File > tap Take a photo/Upload a photo.

When you upload the photo you'll see the file name - and you can tap on the file name to view the photo again.

Most sellers use the Add File feature in the Customer Directory to upload an image file. @pinkmedspa
