How can i use square for inventory control?

Can I enter my inventory count for each product then when I sell a product or give it as a sample to a prospective customer will it automatically deduct it from my inventory then be able to print out the sale or sample?

Yes, the Square POS will handle basic inventory like that just fine. The only thing that it currently has a problem with is returns and it not being added back into inventory. Yes you would have a transaction and if you sold 2 widgets, 2 widgets would be deducted from your starting inventory.

I'M NEW, ADDED ALL MY INVENTORY AS TRACKING...BUT NOT SEEING IT LEAVE INVENTORY NUMBERAS AS SOLD THIS WEEK, MY FIRSTWEEK OPEN?
