    <description>&lt;P&gt;Is there a barcode scanner that is compatible with the&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="01-02-2008 j.jpg" style="width: 999px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.squareup.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/916i663C7D15606E78A1/image-size/large?v=v2&amp;amp;px=999" role="button" title="01-02-2008 j.jpg" alt="01-02-2008 j.jpg" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt; square stand that supports 2d barcodes. Because they are much smaller and denser they work much better for us than traditional barcodes. The square looking code on the graphic above is what i'm talking about!&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;We don't currently support the use of QR, or 2D, barcodes like this. It's a suggestion we receive in addition to being able to scan codes from the app itself, which would definitely&amp;nbsp;be nice. While we're not developing these features&amp;nbsp;at this time,&amp;nbsp;we'll update here in the Community if that changes in the future.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The said part is no deveolpment is required as they conversion is handled by the barcode scanner. As we already have scanners that can read these.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
