How do I make or export a report that shows both item comps AND the comp reason?

I can export comps and see which items were comped in those reports, but there is no option to also see or export the comp reasons. I need that for budgeting purposes. Is there a way to do this?

Hi @MRBJosh, welcome to the seller community!

You can export your Items Summary CSV from your Transactions tab, and you'll be able to view the value of comps applied for each item under the Discounts & Comps column. To make sure I'm on the same page, can you provide more information on why it's important to include the comp reason for budgeting? I'd like to share more details with our Product Liaison team.

Hi - We have subcategories of our comps (charitable donation, promotional, employee, etc) is there any way for me to pull this detail from square so I can see what items were comped AND for the subcategory?

@DPBC Currently there isn't a report that includes both the item name and the comp name. I moved your post here so we can track of this request! Do you also need this information for budgeting reasons? Knowing how you'll use the report is valuable information for our Reporting team!
