      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello &lt;a href="https://community.squareup.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/438039"&gt;@Gogetta247&lt;/a&gt; !&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When you first open your Square account, your funds are held for a little longer than usual. This is so Square can do some footwork on the back end to make sure your business is legit. This process usually takes 5-7 business days, but I've seen it take a shorter time too. It all depends on your business type.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It is kind of odd that your balance doesn't show that $250 payment, but I wouldn't overly be concerned until your account has cleared the verification process. If the balance doesn't show up within a couple of days, I highly recommend giving customer service a call: they can dig into specific data a lot deeper than we can on a public forum.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hope this helps!&lt;/P&gt;</description>
