Is there a way to program an alert to remove card from chip reader?

The final message on the Square Point of Sale app shows a message that reads "Please Remove Card" - are you looking for a different kind of message? Please share some more details on what would be helpful for you and your business.

A beeping sound to alert the customer to remove their card. We seem to be having an issue with customers leaving their card.

Any updates on this? I too have had a few people leave cards in the reader. I'm a new shop and so its been fairly busy and this is a newer system my area as well. Most people are used to it making a noise to alert them their card is still there.

No updates to share on this @RaggedyMan. Have you tried making a little sign to remind customers and placing it by the reader? That might help as an initial reminder!
