Hey everyone!

April is in the books and I wanted to let you know about everything that launched, just in case you missed anything. You can check out some more info on these and screenshots in our blog post: April's Hottest New Features.

April Launches

Customizable client notifications in the Square Appointments Mobile App - this update gives you more control over your messages to your clients.

Ability to preview Square Invoices - check out your invoices before sending them out.

Square developer documentation site redesign - important update that makes it easier to find and read content on our developer site.

Square for Retail Inventory history - get up-to-date information about item adjustments in your inventory, including sold, transferred, and received items.

Any news on when, if ever, we will be able to sell gift certificates online. This is a critical service for massage therapists: that clients and their family and friends be able to purchase a gift certificate online and download it as a gift or send it directly to the person. Would love for this to be added as an option. Let me know please! Kelly

@Kelser33 thanks for the post! We've heard this same request from other people as well, and have a thread about selling gift cards online started - you can subscribe for updates on that thread and we'll make sure to add to it when we have more info! I definitely see how this feature would be key to a massage business. 😊

There is now an eGift option! Go to dashboard--> items---> gift cards and you will see the option to set up eGift cards. You can post the link to your egift landing page on your site! The recepient will get an email when an egift is purchased for them 🙂

Hey @Quest257, thanks for the post! Sounds like you might be using our Beta, which includes eGift Cards. @Kelser33 - this feature will be available soon to all Square sellers! We'll make sure to post an update here in the community when it is available. Thanks for your patience!
