So confused

I just purchased the square reader for contactless + chip and though I've watched a YouTube video, I'm confused about how my iphone, the reader and the battery stick work together. I've downloaded the app, charged everything, but it's just not making sense to me.

I need to use this reader for a book sale tomorrow so I'd really appreciate someone giving me specific guidance.

battery pack stick will help keep the contactless + chip reader charged up, you could also keep your iphone charger and a micro usb cord with you also and just plug into the places electric if possible

Thanks Ninja502 for your response. The problem, I learned after calling Square support is that when I purchased the reader, the one I was given is for an Android and not an iPhone. Square is sending me a new one. Thanks for taking the time to respond. It is much appreciated.
