&lt;P&gt;I think I know what happened — if your customer processed a payment with another Square seller previously, then their payment card would most likely already have an email address associated with it for sending&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://squareup.com/help/us/en/article/5212-automatic-receipts" target="_blank"&gt;automatic receipts&lt;/A&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;
