Does Square retain card info for a customer for future payments?

I'm opening up a delivery service where I charge for the service up front, and the product upon delivery. The service fee is a set cost, but the product cost is unforseeable until all items are purchased. Can I charge for the up front fee first and go back to the card info on delivery date to charge for the product?

You can set it up to store cards on file. see this article. https://squareup.com/help/us/en/article/5770-use-card-on-file-with-the-square-point-of-sale-app
