I am unable to process credit cards on my Square Online Store

I would like to set up Square as a method of payment on my Square Online Store! It keeps sending me to sync an app, but I want to use Square with my Square site, and allow customers to add items to their cart and check out. Why isn't it letting me do this? I'm about ready to pull out my hair.

Hey @PfP_Charissa!

It sounds like you don't have a pay-out method hooked up to your Square account in the Dashboard?

You can link a bank account to Square at https://squareup.com/dashboard/business/bank-accounts-overview. Please ensure that you have linked a bank account here, this should enable payments. Please also note that it can take time for the bank account to be verified by your bank.

If only ... It tells me I've verified my identity, linked my bank account, and scheduled my transfers. I keep getting stuck on 'take your first payment,' and when I choose 'online store,' it sends me to the app marketplace. Do I need an app to make Square sales on my Square online store?
