Is there anyway to use Square in a different country? I plan on moving to Canada in the future.

Do I have to sign up for a seperate account, or can I use my current United States account?

You will need to create a new Square account with the proper Canadian info and a Canadian bank. This is due to contracts Square has with the Credit Card companies, I'm sure Square itself would love to have one account work everywhere.

Thanks for reaching out!

As a Canadian, you can create a Canadian Square account here. You would have to be located in Canada, and activate your account while there.

The requirements for Canada include a verification of the following:

Full legal name
Canadian home address linked to your name
Canadian bank account
SIN (optional, but will greatly expedite the activation process)
