Square Stand question

Hello. I currently use an iPad Air with a chip reader to process my credit card sales.

I'm thinking of getting a Square Stand. My questions are:

Can just buy the Square stand and use my current iPad Air and chip reader?

Can I remove the iPad when not using it for credit card sales without disruption to the device or my credit card sales history for the day(s)?

yes, you can use your iPad air. You can remove it as you need without a problem, but the iPad is fully useable while in the stand so there usually isn't a need to take it out.

I highly recommend the Square Stand. Looks very professional and is very functional. The first year we used Square I just used a $15 generic iPad stand and I would never go back to that.
