Shared Inventory for Varieties

Hello! I have 100 tickets to an event. Child and adult tickets are priced separately, so I need to make multiple varieties. However, I don't want to set, say, 50 child tickets and 50 adult tickets; I would like for there to just be a pool of 100 tickets to purchase. Does anyone know how to do this?

I tried playing around with modifiers, but I was having a hard time making it work.

Create the item at $0 price point, be sure to type "0" on the price, don't leave it grayed out or it will ask you to enter a price each time you try to add the item. Scroll down the item settings and toggle off "Automatically Add Item to Check" or it won't give you the modifiers to choose from.

It's on by default.

Create a modifier set for Adult and Child. Set the price on the modifier itself.

This will keep your inventory correct, and charge the right price.
