Using Square with Apple iPad Pro?

So I just recently got Square for my business. I didn’t want to get another iPad because I currently have the 12.9” iPad Pro. I know that Square does not make a stand for this iPad, so my plan was to just purchase the Bluetooth receipt printer. But my questions is if I would be able to use the cash drawer with my iPad? Where would I plug the drawer in at?

Hey @jpenn24 -

Welcome to the Community! Without the Square Stand, you are able to connect the Cash Drawer directly to a Receipt Printer with Ethernet Interface or the Star Micronics: TSP654II Bluetooth - Receipt Printer with an interface cable.

Hello - we are also looking to use an Ipad Pro 12.9. Do you know if the Star Micronics: TSP654II Bluetooth - Receipt Printer can connect to a cash drawer with an interface cable?

Hey @Codeblucoffee! As Puka mentioned in the post above you should be able to connect a cash drawer to that printer. Or did you mean to add a different link? Some USB printers do require the Square Stand though so check the hardware by device compatibility page or give our CS team a call so we can make sure you have everything you need!
