Using square-connect-v1://payment/create?data=..., what if I want to change the amount?

Hi there,

The flow is simple. I'm in Safari on my iPad app. I navigate out of my web app and into the Square Pos iOS app. I prefill data in the url with a total amount of $120. So I'm now in the Square POS app and I actually want to change the total amount from $120 to $100. When I click the "back arrow" to get back to the keypad, the Square iOS app automatically redirects to my callback url and passes the error_code "payment_canceled".

Is there any way I can open the Square POS iOS app, prepopulate the data, but have the flexibility to change the total amount.

Hello @mdotm, once you've started the payments flow you won't be able to change the amount, unless you're adding a tip.

If you haven't already, I recommend checking out Stack Overflow. We have a pretty sizable developer community on that site!
