You can run a transaction report and export Transaction.CSV. This will give you the customers name if selected at time of transaction. It will not give you customer email address.

Thanks. FOr some reason when I do run that report, it gives me everything but their name. I see it if I open each individual sale but not in the overall report.

It will only show there name in the report if you selected them and applied the customer to the sale. What you are seeing individually is data from card transactions. You don't have access to this information. If you want customer information you must ask for it and enter it during the sale.

You can also acquire customer information with Email Collection, Loyalty, and Marketing.

If you ask for the name at the time of the sale, then how to you get that on your report? Can you report on it?

If you add a customer to the sale it will show up on the transaction report. You can also find all sales made by the customer by looking them up in the customer section.

Not exactly sure if this is what you are asking.

Is there a way to pull a list of certain items sold and see the customer name and email address associated with that item? Our PTA is using Square to sell memberships, spirit wear, fundraiser money, etc. I'd like to see everyone who bought a new membership each month and the email associated with that transaction so we can send them a welcome letter, without having to go through the customer directory and copy and paste the emails into a spreadsheet each month. If I export a transaction summary, all I see is the customer name, no email and I can't find a report that does this.

If you look at each individual transaction, you can see an email address if the person has previously asked for their receipt to be emailed. You would then have to go through the marketing section of Square to email them.

To get a report of all sales to a specific client/customer, if they have their name attached to the transaction you can go into invoices and search all invoices for a specific client and then export that to .csv file.

Items are a bit different, but will post my solution later, once I rerun and confirm the steps again.
