Is the Samsung Galaxy Amp 2 compatible with the Square chip card reader?

I am about to purchase a phone specifically for using the Square chip card reader. My first choice is the Samsung Galaxy Amp 2. I am also considering the LG Harmony and the LG Phoenix 3.

Hi @lauraleom -

The Samsung Galaxy Amp 2 is compatible with the Point of Sale app and Magstripe reader. This model is not compatible with our chip card readers. It may be a good idea to use a device compatible with a chip card reader to better protect your business from fraudulent charges and chargebacks.
