I am new to square and I have an entertainment/service company. We require a 50% deposit up front to schedule an event. Without creating multiple items how would I do this and invoice the customer? Is there an easy way?

Hey @bg-gvl - The simplest way to do this would probably be to Create an Item and name it Scheduling Deposit or something that makes it a recognizable charge for you and the customer. You'll want to leave the Price blank so that you can change its price for each transaction, dependent on the deposit amount. From there, you would just Create an Invoice and send to the customer via email (or text if they prefer). 👍🏼

Let us know if you have any further questions!
