How to set up multi tiered discounts

I know I can set up discounts for certain customer groups or certain categories etc. But is there a way to set up discounts for certain categories in specific customer groups. For instance for my employee group I may want only X% off fresh meat dept but Y% off subs and pizza. We can't afford to pay employees what larger companies can so we try to give them most products for 10% over cost but my margins are different for different groups of items. We are a Pizza/Deli but also operate a corner market with fresh meat, deli groceries etc. It's been difficult to find a system that works for everything. I have Square Retail Plus so I can track inventory and Square for restaurants free so my menu syncs with online partners. I don't like the Retail setup on the Square register so I use the regular POS on my register and just have the Retail Plus on my computer to tracking COGS etc. I just implemented Square this week so any help would be greatly appreciated. I have 14 employees I'm trying to train on it while I learn myself.

I just want to clarify your ask here. You have a discount created for a specific group, but you want way within that group to add more discount rules, essentially?

Yes that is correct. Within my group "Employees" I want to be able to give them a certain percent off some categories or items and a different discount on other items. Same is true for other groups for instance "Regulars" maybe I want to just give them 10% off our menu items and not off our store items.

So basically two tier; 1st tier being group, second tier being category or item. Any help you can give would be great.

The ability to add additional discount rules within the discount group you setup is feature request.
