    <description>&lt;P&gt;Square has been great for us.&amp;nbsp; Unfortunately, by choosing Japan when signing up your account has been made into a Japenese Square account, I don't think there is a setting that you can change on your&amp;nbsp;end to fix that.&amp;nbsp; For right now I would continue setting up your new account in English and contact Square on Monday&amp;nbsp;and they will be able to transfer your $10 credit over to your new account.&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>20 minutes into using Square accidentally entered Japan Cant change &amp; lost $10 redemption This sucks</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I accidently entered Janpan as country when tring to use my redemption code for the square&amp;nbsp;card reader device I bought at Best Buy&amp;nbsp; (Japan was pre selected when I followed the instruction on the first page of my manual telling me to go to square.com/redeem.) As soon as I entered my email for the second time, it started processing.&amp;nbsp; Everything was in Japanese, and I couldn't connect to the account.&amp;nbsp; Once selected, you can't change country, so I sent an email to square Japan to cancel my account, I got a response that once google tranlated to english didn't really make sense.&amp;nbsp; I had to set up a second account so I could use my card reader device.&amp;nbsp; Now it appears that my redemption code is lost in limbo.&amp;nbsp; I cant attach a bank to the japanese account and when I try to redeem through my&amp;nbsp;US account it won't work since the redemption code has been used.&amp;nbsp; I tried to get phone support thinking I could fix this quickly,&amp;nbsp; but its not available today.&amp;nbsp; I hope things get better, this is about the worst first experience with a product I have ever had.&amp;nbsp; Is this par for the course?&amp;nbsp; If so, I will cut my losses and find a better product.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
