Can I connect two iPad stands to one USB printer?

It appears that I can setup multiple printers on a single iPad. When docked in the stand with a USB printer, will the iPad automatically detect the printer? We have two POS stations (two stands, two iPads and two USB printers), one is a back up for when we get busy. I want to have the ability to dock either iPad in either stand/printer. More importantly, I want the backup iPad to be able to dock in the primary stand/printer if the primary iPad dies.

Hi @Edds

Your iPad + Square Stand will recognize any compatible printer once it's connected via USB to your Square Stand accessories hub.

It shouldn't matter which iPad is connected to which Square Stand, so long as they're both running the Point of Sale app and the Square Stand and USB Printers are connected properly.

You can swap iPads out if needed and continue taking sales without any trouble.
