&lt;P&gt;Since the new Appointments app has it's own dedicated check-out section, some features that can be used in the Point of Sale app might not be available in the Appointments app.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Open Tickets was designed for restaurant style businesses, and the thought process here was that a calendar booking would serve as a similar solution for an open ticket (e.g. a calendar booked appointment reflects the service that hasn't been performed/paid for yet).&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;I don't have any information around whether or not this is something we're going to add in to the Appointments app.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;The Point of Sale app might make more sense to use for checkout if your business model fits that check out flow a bit better.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
