Android Help: Trouble downloading Point of Sale app from Google Play store

The title of this thread was updated from its original title: “I keep getting a message saying it the app already installed...it isn't. HELP!”.

I am trying to download the square app to my tablet from the google play store. I keep getting a message saying it is already installed...it isn't. I do have it installed in my phone. What am I doing wrong?

unfortunately, I have 0 experience with Android. @RHatch do you have any experience in Android to help them out?

are you sure it isn't installed on another page of apps, not the home screen? can you search apps installed on android?

No, Not really, work more with Apple products, Go to Settings, apps and see if it is listed, if it is uninstalled and reinstall it. If it isn't installed, force quit the play store app and try it again.
