I didn't see the confirmation page with the "receipt sent" notification so I issued the same refund again. that time I saw the notification and was confident the refund issued. I noticed in my bank account that an amount double what the refund should have been was deducted. As I looked at the transaction today it clearly shows two refunds happening two minutes apart. Is there any way to recoup the second refund with out tracking down the customer and charging their card again! That would be really tacky but I cant afford to give money away!
