Adding a custom amount to a catagory during checkout.

Besides my regular store I run consignments that are not in inventory Is there a way to create a category then add as you go. Example customer buys a $10 vase I want to enter $10 then add to category of Consignments. and close the sale and that sale will go into that category without adding it to inventory.

There isn't a way to assign a category at checkout to a custom entered amount.

What I would do is create the category you want, then set up a variable priced item in that category. You could create an item for each consignor so you can track sales.

Thank you but that's, not a plausible solution I currently have 15 vendors with 20 to 100 different items each and we have only been doing consignments for 3 months. I don't need to track their items only my own. But thank you.
