Automatically have discounts applied?

For example, I want to sell photography prints. One 8x10 print sells for $20. Buy two 8x 10 prints for $30. The discount there is $10. One 16x20 print is $45. But two 16x20 prints for $70. The discount there is $20. Buy one 8x10 and one 16x20 for $50. The discount there is $15. I would like to have a discount automatically apply a discount. Is there a way to do this?

There currently is no way to do this. The only workaround I can think of is to create a variation of your item and price accordingly.

One 8x10 = $20

two 8x 10 = $30

This would show up in a drop-down option on the online store. It might confuse people because you have this and a quantity option.
