Can you customize the NEW customer facing display pos to hide item amount and only show total amount

Refering to the new square register pos front facing display. Can you customize the functions within the display to hide the price of an item to keep the customer from canceling and purchasing a lessor amount? Can you only show total amount due?

Hi @ChaseG - We just checked out our demo Register here and it doesn't look like there is an option to adjust customer facing pricing (or the option to see it) currently.

What kind of business are you running? We can definitely add a feature request, but it would be helpful to get some context of how you'll be using the Register when we give feedback to our product team.

Hello,

I gues its food business like me...

my square register is connected with KDS tablet located in the kitchen.

So there are moe informations entered in the pos and it will confused the customer with the front display arguing on a price or changing his mind and slowing the process.

a total amount will be more simple and efficient,

I would loke to upgrade my pos only when this feature will be avaialble.

Hello @MAX3, thanks for that insight! The new Register doesn't work with Fresh KDS at this time so it sounds like it's not a fit for your business at this time.
