Reciepts for cash transaction?

I know you can link a customer to a cash transaction but can you send them a receipt without them having to put their info in automatically

If you add them to your customer database during the first transaction, then you will be able to look them up the next time. If you don't you will have to enter there phone or email address at the end of the transaction.

What if they are an existing customer. Will it send it to them automatically?

Only if you add them to the sale and they allow autoreciepts. If not you will have to click on the option when it askes how they want the reciept.
