Helen here stepping on for @Tom, so sorry for the wait!

You can print a copy of the W4 that has been completed by your employee by taking a screenshot of the W4 from your the Employees tab of your Square Payroll dashboard. To see their W4 information click on the employee’s name and click Edit Employee.

I see how it would be helpful to be able to print a copy of their W4 directly from the Dashboard and I’ll share that thought with the Payroll team.

I need to print a copy of an employees w-4, how do i do that? I found an old post from 2017 but I think things have changed since then.

Hi @bham-ptg! The steps to print a W-4 are here, they haven't change recently. Square Payroll processes tax forms digitally and displays the information on your Dashboard.

Alternatively, you or your employees could download the W-4 from the IRS's website and fill it out.

Hi! Thanks for reaching out! I've merged your post to an existing thread that's asking about printing W4's. The answer will be the same for your W-2s in that you need to take a screenshot on your laptop and print that out instead. We do mail physical copies to your employees, so they can also receive a W-2 that way.

A past employee is wanting a copy of the W-4 they filed out.

I read the post again and again and haven't found a way to print the w-4.
