Appointments service "payment per hour" options

Is there a way to set up a service that charges "per hour"? It seems that you can only set a flat rate no matter how long the appointment is. What am I missing?

Welcome to the Seller Community 👍🏼

There's no particular way to setup a per hour service, however you can change the service price to "Varies" and calculate the total amount of the sale at the time of checkout.

But this would be for online bookings so they would be checking out themselves.

Thanks for clarifying @ROCKHARDREVUE

While you can require a full payment up front, this would only apply for "Fixed Price" services, so there's not a way for you to charge a per hour rate (unless the service duration is the same every time).

I haven't heard of many workarounds for this, but hopefully a few Appointments sellers can chime in with their own workarounds.

The only way around it would be to set a deposit upon the booking and invoice for the balance. I think it works better that way anyway. Thanks for your input! Take care.
