Is there a way to hold/store a transaction to be completed at a later time?

I am interested in purchasing the square pos register system for a full service Diner I am opening soon. I have a few questions I can not seem to find the answers to.

#1. If an order is turned in and sent to the kitchen printer can the payment wait until the customer is finished dining?

#2. Can the open ticket be added to? Such as desserts or drinks...etc?

#3. Can a seperate IPad be used by the servers and sent to kitchen printer and a printer for customer ticket?

#4, Can the seperate IPad correspond with the register POS system? Like the info entered in on the servers Ipad be picked up at register terminal?

Hello @DMDiner75, all of these are great questions!

You can wait till the customer is finished dining before running the payment.
Any items you add to an Open Ticket can be printed on a supported Kitchen Printer.
This ones kind of tough, because it would require a Bluetooth printer that your server would have to carry around, but with the compatible printers it should be possible.
Open Tickets will sync across multiple devices on your account!
