      <description>&lt;P&gt;To provide our customers with the best customer service we would like to be able to issue a refund on product returned to us at any time. If the customer doesn't have a receipt, if they are passed the Square return policy date, and if their name was not recorded at the time of the sale. Is there currently a way to refund a customer without attaching it to a sale?&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;It looks like refunds have to be associated with a previous transaction and, if the item was in other tender (including cash and check), you have 180 days to process that refund.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
