How can I differentiate service vs retail?

Hairdresser here. For tax purposes I'd like to be able to differentiate what I sell (product, retail) vs. the service I perform (not taxed) thanks in advance T

Just assign them to a different category this way you can run a report and show your sales by category and break down which items you sold within that category.

@rsklar @Tbbangs I am hoping this can become a feature. Obviously we can use categories, but as hairdressers, our services and retail items have multiple categories to begin with. It still requires sifting through a ton of information and manually adding many figures. It would save a lot of time an energy if there was an automatic differentiation in reports.
