you should always consult a tax attorney in your state for the best advice but from what I saw on the tax.hawaii.gov website with the forms it says Gross proceeds, or gross income every time which is just the raw total, not net profits.

So I would put the total gross sales on line 8 column A if you are retailing.

Thanks so much! Ya, that was my assumption but needed a second opinon 🙂 As I provide a service and not retail, I believe it's line 9 for me (I'm new to this whole tax game). Again, I appreciate the response.
